Ephesians 5:15-16, NKJV: See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

I consider a great portion of my life with regret. When I think about the many hours I have spent indulging my flesh in unnecessary frivolity, I cannot help but be saddened. For when I consider the great many hours in which I could have been sitting at the Lordís feet, learning from Him, instead of giving in to the momentary amusements for my mortal mind, I feel as though I have lost out on what is truly of worth. Perhaps you understand. Perhaps there is something that has occupied more of your time and attention than it should. For you know, as I, that it is easy to neglect the more important things of God, and it is easy to overlook and excuse our behavior. Yet there is so much to be gained if we would only surrender to be fully about our Fatherís business--starting here and now. If we truly live life for Him today, redeeming the time, we will need not consider our yesterdays with regret any longer.
