Isaiah 12:2, NIV: Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation."

In my family, we have a pleasant saying we often use as praise: “God is Good!” And to whom this is said, there is a traditional expected response: “All the time!” The exchange is an expression of admiration and agreement--admiration of our Lord, and agreement that He is truly Good. These words mean that, and more. They express a real and wonderful truth, that God is Good all the time. Regardless of our circumstances, He is Good. Regardless of my faithfulness to Him, and my willingness to follow, He is Good. And regardless of the situations of the Church, our nation, and the world, He is, and continues to remain, Good. It is an unchanging characteristic of our Lord. It is a reality that should bring us hope, even in our darkest times. For as we keep in mind that God is in control, and that there is nothing taking Him by surprise, we can know that He is working all things together for the Good--the best Good--for He, our God, is Good
