Galatians 5:22-23, NIV: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Ok, so you want to produce good spiritual fruits. Don’t we all. It is a continuous desire, and struggle, to see the fruits of God manifested in our lives. Many of us would be happy to get through a week without seeing a bad fruit—say: selfishness, lust, anger, etc. In fact, many of us would be overjoyed to get through an entire day. Unfortunately, it seems that one bad apple (as they say), seems to make the whole batch appear rotten. For some of us, when we do see the good spiritual fruits in our lives, we have a hard time rejoicing in them. But just as much as God desires you to find victory over the bad fruits, He wants you to rejoice in the good. Remember, it is because of Christ in you that good fruits come out from you. It would be terribly wrong not to praise God for the good He brings. The devil wants nothing more than to drag you down and remind you of your sin at a time where God has brought victory. “Resist the devil and he will flee.” And “fix your eyes on Jesus,” giving Him praise for the good He brings.
