Have you ever had one of those weeks where anything that could go wrong, does. Of course, it usually only seems that way. In those times, it is usually hard to find the silver linings in the midst of angry, stormy clouds. Nevertheless, you keep trying, and perhaps trusting, that things are bound to turn around. But sometimes things get so hectic that all you can do is lift it up to God--if only you could determine which way was up. Such a time is a time for stillness and surrender. There is a time when you should keep moving while trusting God for His direction, and there is a time to simply stop, and to be still, and to get before God in quiet solitude. It is a time to change your focus from being on what you are trying to accomplish, to being on Who you were made for. Sometimes we forget our purpose is not in what we do; but, in who we are in Christ.
