Ecclesiastes 3:1, NIV: There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven

There are times when time, it seems, stands still. And there are times it seems that time is passing by faster than you can measure. There are times when time seems to be a faithful companion—and times when time is your worse enemy. “There is a time,” Solomon tells us, “for every purpose under heaven.” And though it may seem that time is a commodity you seem to have so little of, it is enough to accomplish the purposes God has for you. Our limited time is most likely due to our difficulty managing it. We fill our time with less important things while the greater things so often get neglected. Perhaps in time, we will learn to fill our time more wisely. One thing is certain—only time will tell.
