On Their Behalf

1 Timothy 2:1: I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers,
intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone.
What is the best time of day to pray? The Bible instructs us to pray without ceasing. How
we do so is basically by keeping an attitude of prayer throughout our daywe pray, as
we go. There are also those times we pause to enter into our prayer closetso to
speakand lift of our praises, petitions, and requests unto God. There are many ways and times we can pray, but I have discovered something beneficial
in praying on the behalf of others early in my day. Simply said, when I start my day in
thought of others concerns, I have found that my mind remains more steadfast in a
Christ-like attitude toward others throughout my day. As I go, I see the ones I prayed for
earlier, and my mind is instantly taken back to the thoughts of my time with God on their
behalf. As I go, I go better equipped to witness, serve and love those I come in contact
withsimply because I made them a top priority, at the beginning of my day.
