Philippians 1:6, NIV: Being confident of this, that he who began
a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Take a good look in the mirror. What do you see? Does what you see make you
happy? Sad? Do you look at yourself and think about who you are, what you are,
or what you have accomplished? Do you see yourself clearly? Thatís the question
now, isnít it? Sometimes it would seem that the mirror holds a better image of
who we are than that which we hold of ourselves. Many things often distort our
opinions of ourselves. But take comfort. Godís not through with you yet. You are
truly a work in progress. The scripture tells us not to be anxious for anything.
Our personal growth is no different. Just like with everything else, you have to
place yourself in the caring and capable hands of God. He began a good work in
you--and He will be faithful to complete it.
