Isaiah 41:10, NKJV:  Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

“Perhaps it’s God’s will.” At times of trial and tribulation, such words shoot right through you. People mean well. But so very often they look for ways to encourage you while your world crumbles around you. They try to reassure you that “God is in control.” That’s all good and fine; and you would not think to argue. Yet, why does it seem He is taking control of everything else; while it seems your life is going unnoticed? You know God hasn’t forgotten you, but it sure feels otherwise. And so, you stop--and you pray. You begin to remember times God has been faithful--times of trouble that He pulled you through. And that’s when it hits you. You smile warmly, even though the pain is still present. And somewhere in a moment of worship and gratitude to God for who He is and what He has done already, you find comfort. For you know He who is faithful will see you through--just like He has done before.
