Luke 16:10, NAS:  He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.

There are some of us who have great enthusiasm for God’s work, yet seemingly have few resources; and there are some of us who have many resources, yet seem to run short of energy and enthusiasm. There are some with much talent, but feel a lack of direction. And some having knowledge of what needs done, but cannot, as a friend of mine put it, “organize themselves well enough to get out of a wet paper sack.” All in all, we are responsible to use that which God has equipped us with. We cannot use what He has not given, nor should we ruminate upon all we might do if we had that which we do not have. So many of us might think, “If only I had more…” money, talent, etc. “Just imagine what I could do then.” But you currently have what you need to do God’s work today. Invest it wisely, and you are bound to see Him do great things, with the little that you have.
