A Gift of Life

by Randy Chambers, 1988-10-01

A flame will die without it's fuel,
to keep it burning bright.
A rose will wilt without it's soil,
it's water, and it's sunlight.

Without the wind, a windmill,
surely stands in vane.
A farmer's crops will soon expire,
without the fallen rain.

All things on earth require support,
to help sustain their life.
So as the Lord gives all these things,
so gives He man, a wife.
