Philippians 2:13, NIV: for it is God who works in you to will and to
act according to his good purpose.
An old expression tells us that we should do our best, and let God do the rest. But there
is no need to wait until we have done all we can before coming to Him. It is His desire to
be with us, work through us, and accomplish as one with us what we could never do alone.
Before we set out to accomplish a taskbefore we make the first plan or
preparationHe is there. How much greater joy is there to work along side our Lord
through a process, than waiting until we have done what we can alone before coming to Him.
